About VATJO

The VATSIM Jordanian FIR (Flight Information Region) operates “by the book,” simulating air traffic operations in Jordan in the most professional and realistic manner on the VATSIM Network. Our motto is - what happens in Jordan, happens on VATSIM.

VATJO was founded over three years ago by Mahmoud A. Fadli, the current Division Director for the VATSIM Middle East Division. It is headed by CFI Captain Mohammad Malhas and Captain Anas Kheir, long time members of the Royal Jordanian Gliding Club at Marka International Airport, in Amman.

VATJO has spearheaded many new developments in Jordanian online aviation, bringing notice to itself by real world government officials in the country. Our goal is to ensure that all members on VATSIM who fly through Jordan not only have fun, but feel like they are taking part in more than a game - that they are in an accurate simulation of how things are really like in Jordan.

VATJO welcomes all members, Jordanian or not, to join this wonderful FIR and learn how to fly and conduct ATC Services in Jordan.

VATJO Scenery Package v2.0 Released!

VATJO COMPLETE SCENERY PACKAGE RELEASED!

FS9/FSX Complete Jordanian Scenery Package. This is version 2 of the VATSIM Jordanian FIR's Jordanian scenery package. In this complete package, OJAI, OJAM, OJAQ and OJMF are represented to the best of VATJO's ability using real world photos, charts, and other sources from the Kingdom. This scenery includes updates for OJAI, OJAM and OJAQ, including current taxiway configurations, complete Amman, Aqaba, and Mafraq city landclasses, and more.
